You have wide practice in providing clinical input to clients and are familiar with the New Zealand health landscape. We are seeking for from you is the following: » practice as a psychologist or psychotherapist with a broad expertise of different areas of psychological dysfunction, including the effects of sexual abuse, physical injury, and traumatic brain injury » expertise in the classification and assessment of psychological conditions » Excellent verbal and written communication expertise » Quick, flexible, astute, and analytical thinking » You are registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board or the Psychotherapists Board of Aotearoa New Zealand What you will be doing: Your expertise and abilities would be put to good use in a medico-legal setting. You will review clinical information, seek clarification, work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues, provide verbal and written advice, and support internal and external stakeholders to make the best decisions on claims and to facilitate prosperous rehabilitation results for ACC clients. expertise of ACC and our processes will also be an advantage, as will practice in working with people from different cultures.
