The Team:What we do
The Project Manager – Respiratory Physiotherapy Outpatient Service Redesign provides the project leadership abilities for the working group that will progress the Redesign of the Respiratory Physiotherapy Outpatient Service across Canterbury and West Coast DHBs as part of the Sustaincapability Funding Service improvement work.
The function:Where you fit in
The core focus of your function is to advise and support other leaders in developing and delivering strategy. You will have responsibility for determining how to deal with organisational or clinical challenges and will often be asked to advise on the best course of action.
this function is a fixed-term, part-time (0.5FTE) position 20 hours a week.

Essential qualifications, expertise, and Special Skills:
   » Project management practice, with an emphasis on clinical projects or health service development projects
   » Service improvement methodology and practice of process and value stream mapping techniques
   » Minimum five years of clinical or operational work practice in the Health Sector
   » Demonstrated expertise of the New Zealand Health Sector
   » The capability to identify health issues and propose development opportunities
   » Demonstrated excellence in results focussed reporting
   » practice with making decisions in complex situations where there is incomplete information or solutions are not obvious.
Desirable:
   » practice in leadership abilities and/or management
   » practice in respiratory services
   » practice in physiotherapy services
