Haere mai ki te tono mo tetahi tuunga i te Kaunihera o te Taone o OtautahiThe Linwood/Woolston community has celebrated the start of construction work on the eagerly-awaited Te Pou Toetoe: Linwood Pool with this important community hub due to open in late 2021. We are seeking for our next great Aquatics Team Leader to play a key function in the delivery of our vision of making more people, more active, more often. With a focus of delivering high quality aquatic services, this function specifically centres around ensuring standards such as operating procedures, Poolsafe, water quality, pool supervision, cleanliness and customer service are met. This will be done by leading and motivating the lifeguard team to deliver an exceptional customer service practice. As the most important aspect of this job is leading people, We are seeking for Somebody with practice in inspiring, motivating and developing staff and empowering them to always achieve greatness for our customers. While leadership abilities is key, ideally you will come from an aquatics background and have a significant industry qualification. You will be someone who is community and commercially minded, is dynamic and solution focussed, and has exceptional communication expertise who can confidently run the pools while also contributing to the facility’s leadership abilities team. There will be opportunities to make an even wider impact in the community through working collaboratively with peers from our growing network of facilities to improve standards and consistency across the city. Te Pou Toetoe will include a 25 metre lane pool, a deep water pool for “manus”, a family spa pool, a lgain to swim pool, and a toddler pool with a splash pad.
