Housing Broker – Nelson Region

About the function
The Housing Broker increases the connections between private landlords, property managers, and the wider private rental market. In this function, you will work alongside regional housing staff to support the connection of clients to appropriate and sustainable private rental options.
Your responsibilities will include:
   » Providing housing market intelligence.
   » Sales and marketing.
   » Interaction and communication with the housing team supporting clients.
   » Relationship management and partnership building.
About you
We are seeking for someone who brings:
   » A high level of technical and professional expertise/knowledge in the private rental market and wider housing sector.
   » Up to date knowledge of regional and national private rental and housing market challenges and opportunities.
   » Detailed knowledge of tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities.
   » Promotional/marketing expertise and an knowledge of key strategies and approaches.
   » Strong interpersonal expertise.
   » Excellent client focus.
   » Strong relationship management and communication expertise.
   » The capability to deliver prosperous results.

income range: $71,231.00 – $87,060.00
