Offer: Programmes Manager:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation National Youth Theatre Closes 23 Jan 2023 Posted on 9 Jan 2023 Region National, Auckland Work type Full time employment Work classification Community & Access Arts, Education & Development, Performing Arts ShareNational Youth Theatre is a Charitable Trust, devoted to changing lives from the stage.We areexpanding, and will be taking on a Programmes Manager. this function works closely with the Chief Executive, to plan, co-ordinate, and deliver our courses, programmes, and productions all over the year. This is envisaged to be a full-time position, with flexible working hours. candidates should be available to work on Sundays as required. The prosperous applicant will be: » practiced in working with large groups of young people » An excellent communicator » Able to manage a team of contractors » Have a theatrical background - this could be artistic, technical or production » Self-motivated » Have a full drivers license The responsibilities of this function will include: » superviseing all programmes, including new Manukau and Hamilton expansions » Maintaining a pool of qualified tutors, and staffing each programme » Creating timetables and curriculums » Planning all communications to participants and their families » Liaising with various departments (artistic, costume, technical etc) for large-scale productions, providing the main point of contact and ensuring communication channels are strong » Liaising with performance venues - from small halls up to the Aotea Centre. » Organising and leading our twice-yearly camp weekends.
