About the opportunity Our Area Managers provide a vital link to the Co-Op connecting farmers to the expertise and skills they need in an ever changing and complex business environment. Located in the local dairy community, key to your success will be building relationships with our farmers and other rural professionals. You will be responsible for supporting and enabling a tailored response to our farmers and regional utilisation of our suite of service offerings. Working closely with farmers you'll identify individual needs and challenges, then bring to life the tools, services and support we can offer to help enable positive business results and retain a strong milk supply for Fonterra. We support flexible working arrangements, so when you're not out with farmers, or at our stores connecting with the wider regional team and community of rural professionals you'll be able to work in the house 1 day of the week. About you We are open to practice and transferrable skills, however the key to succeed would be your excellent communication skills to easily navigate through tough conversations and prosperously communicate Fonterra's key messages to farmers and communities. You will be a natural relationship builder who can quickly gain trust from our farmers and engage well with local communities.
