AoD Clinician - Waikato Hamilton

We are seeking the next AoD Clinician, looking for career growth and an opportunity to work in kaupapa M?ori based on a wh?nau first, tikanga based, wellbeing approach orginisation. Our organisation works to a model of care centered around our four 'pou' (guiding principles) of manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, arohatanga and rangatiratanga.

These values are integral to our practice and service. We deliver 30+ health and social services across the life span (i.e. from infants to the elderly) and have a team of 100+ people working across Hamilton city and beyond.

We have a AoD Clinician position for full time role within our Mental Health Support Services, in our Hamilton.

We are seeking Support Workers who;
   » Pride themselves on a wh?nau first, tikanga based, wellbeing approach
   » Are passionate about making a difference in the lives of our whanaunga
   » Have positive and supportive mindsets in supporting our whanaunga to achieve their goals and aspirations which lead to independence/ independent living in the community
   » Can demonstrate patience and calm by walking alongside whanaunga at the pace of our whanaunga
   » Are respectful and will uphold the integrity and dignity of our whanaunga
   » Can work to a holistic approach to wellbeing.

Requirements:
   » Full Driver's License
   » Hold a current First Aid Certificate
   » Medium to high computer literacy
   » Fully Covid-19 vaccinated and boosted
   » 1- 3 Years mental health service / support work experience
   » Have or be prepared to study towards Level 4 qualifications in Mental Health or Level 5 qualifications in Social Services or Alcohol and other Drugs (AoD)
   » Demonstrates a high level of oral and written skills
   » Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
