We develop partnerships so we can send our volunteers on assignment. Te ?hua o Te T?runga - The nature of the positionAs our Principal Liaison - Pacific Partnerships , you will build trusted connections with Pacific-led organisations and communities in Aotearoa. Identifying who and how best to create strategic relationships that will enable collaboration. You will play an important function in promoting and implementing VSA's Pacific Engagement Plan. You will use our internal CRM / Stakeholder Management system to ensure engagement with contacts is appropriately captured and managed.You will engage with Pacific Peoples, community leaders and organisations, primarily in Aotearoa, nurturing relationships and developing volunteering opportunities and projects. Writing clear business cases and project plans; ensuring effective coordination of any projects that have been collaboratively developed. This may include seeking funding to support activities or projects. You are a connector and a people person, bringing to this function your broad network of contacts across Pacific-led organisations and communities.You will ideally: » Be practiced in building and nurturing relationships. » Be an excellent communicator, particularly in cross-cultural settings. » Have demonstrated practice in developing and implementing projects and events. » Have an knowledge of international development within the Pacific context. This is our sole function located in T?maki Makaurau/ Auckland with one of our partner organisations, there is flexibility to work-from-home up to a couple of days a week.
