Te ?hua o Te T?runga - The nature of the position
As our Marketing and Communications Advisor, and a part of our small Marketing and Communication team, you will have responsibility for shaping and creating our content and supporting both our internal and external communications. You will work closely with all our teams across VSA provide data-driven advice and be involved with our communication and marketing planning and campaigns.
We work collaboratively to increase the reach and impact of VSA's profile across Aotearoa New Zealand and the Pacific so we can attract and reach a wide variety of audiences, including potential volunteers, members, and donors. As one of our leads for our social and digital platforms, you will get to highlight some of the great development mahi that our partners achieve in partnerships with our volunteers.
Ng? tino P?kenga/Wheako - Essential expertise/practices for the function
This is a rare, broad and varied marketing and communications function, with a strong written communications component, and room to grow the function. Ideally, you will have practice working either in international development, Pacific or not-for-profit environments. this function requires you to have strong relationship management and cultural competency expertise.
We are pursuing a prosperous candidate who has the following practice:
   » Strong story writing practice
   » Creation of content across a wide variety of platforms and channels
   » Execution of marketing campaigns
   » Connection and engagement with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
We are pursuing Somebody with at least three years' practice in a similar function, who is flexible, patient, and adaptable in an evolving environment.
