Job Opportunity: Peer to Peer Stewardship Coordinator:MentalhealthJob description:Job Descriptionthis function will support the Mental Health Foundation's Peer-to-Peer Events Team and our key fundraising initiatives to drive fundraiser and donor acquisition, retention, and growth. Your key focus is to provide stewardship for our amazing fundraisers to ensure they have the support they need to create fundraiser engagement and increase fundraising dollars.Support, enthusiasm and problem-solving are all attributes you'll have in spades. If you consider yourself a people person and you love connecting with others, learning about their motivations and supporting them to achieve their goals, this promises to be a compensateing function that will ultimately help benefit the mental health of all New Zealanders. To truly make this function your own you will provide stewardship to the highest standard and know how to build relationships with donors/fundraisers, ensuring they feel supported and have a great fundraising practice with the Mental Health Foundation. On any given day you might be busy managing the fundraising inbox and answering queries via email. Then you'll hit the phones and be happy to chat with our fundraisers, checking in on them and supporting them to reach their goals. You might then pack up some promotional merchandise and get Information technology sent out to our amazing fundraisers, as a thank-you and an acexpertisement of their awesome efforts. And if it's a week leading up to a big event like the Auckland Marathon, you'll be at your best making sure the event kit is prepped and ready, so all our supporters have an incredible day! You will have two or more years of fundraising practice, ideally in a call centre or in a face-to-face fundraising function. You will need to be positive, self-directed, and enthusiastic, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
