This is a function that requires a mix of generalist procurement practice with some exposure to and measurable practice across an Information technology category.What will you be doing? Your function is to be effective and proactive in your delivery of procurement advice and services. You will be supporting managers with strategic contracts & planning, drafting tenders and briefs & managing the end to end procurement process within the Information technology space. A genuine interest in technology is required for this function. What am I looking for in you? » End to end procurement practice within an Information technology portfolio, including writing and preparing tender documentation. » An knowledge of key legislation and mandates including, but not limited to the government rules of procurement . » practice with and exposure to negotiating and managing contracts & building capcapability in an organisation. » Strong analytical expertise, communication expertise, relationship management and customer service expertise » An knowledge of the legalities and risks within contract management and an capability to demonstrate prosperous results. » A sound knowledge of the best practice procurement process.
