About the function
Our Risk and Assurance team supports ACC’s capability to achieve its objectives and strategic intentions by enabling risk-located decision making, ensuring effective risk and value trade-offs are made and opportunities are captured.
We have a newly created opportunity for Somebody with a depth of practice in risk and technology to join us as the Technology Risk Lead.
The responsibilities of this function include the following:
   » Providing high quality oversight, challenge, and advice on technology risks all over the organisation
   » Working with key internal stakeholders to influence and mature technology risk practice
   » Leading complex streams of work that support systems and framework enablement in technology projects, including design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology risk and compliance frameworks
   » Providing technical skills in modern project development techniques and leading-edge systems
   » Building and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
   » Sharing knowledge and skills regarding existing and emerging technology risk issues, while influencing process change and guidance material to manage these risks proactively
About you
You will have significant practice in a risk enablement position in a technology context. Your technical skills will enable you to provide pragmatic, high quality risk oversight, challenge and advice as systems are being developed, as well as identifying potential risks and solutions in areas like Cyber Security, Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence – you will need to demonstrate credibility around the advice you provide and build trust with key stakeholders. This will likely come from practice in a large, complex organisation where you led the development of robust technology risk frameworks.
We are seeking for the following:
   » broad knowledge and technical skills in modern project development techniques and leading-edge systems – we use Agile and Continuous Delivery
   » System thinking capability
   » Strategic and tactical leadership abilities practice, including coaching, developing, and mentoring
   » A consultative style and good facilitation skills
   » A high level of collaborative interpersonal, relationship building and networking skills
   » Proven knowledge of risk management, and information security practices in a corporate environment
   » Demonstrated knowledge of Information technology security best practices and exposure to and/or qualifications in Information technology risk best practice methodologies
   » Preferably hold professional certification in risk management, controls, and assurance, such as CISA, CIA, or CA
