adjunct Commissioner:Public Service CommissionJob description:Job DescriptionTe Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.As an adjunct Commissioner, your work will be full of variety. You will work closely with a number of Public Service Chief Executives, manage issues, advise Ministers and help recruit chief executives and other senior leaders. You will often be out of the office, out and about making things happen. You will be a seasoned professional - someone who is confident, a straight-shooter, empathetic and principled but also pragmatic. You will be practiced in advising Chief Executives, and be able to build trust and credibility quickly. You will enjoy working with others to get results and you will be able to confidently navigate complex issues in a world where the answers are not always straightforward or clear. Your time with our organisation will give you a unique perspective on the public service, and help equip you for top leadership abilities functions. adjunct Commissioners are assigned a portfolio of agency and system responsibilities within which they support chief executives and system leads to maintain a high level of trust and confidence and deliver improved results for New Zealanders.
