We need an practiced and mature nanny to help with drop-offs and pick-ups for Isaac (8), Jacob (6) and Natey (nearly 5). Start date asap. Location, Kilbirnie. Vaccinated only please! We all are (except Nate as they're too young). Regular hours are 25h a week, five hours per weekday in two chunks. Pay is negotiable, and details to be confirmed located on practice, etc, but there will be pay over and above your accommodation. We have a very set routine which the kids are used to. Food is similarly very simple, but reasonable cooking practice is needed. They're good kids, but they're still pretty young! practice with and enjoyment of young kids is a necessity. Also good boundaries because they're getting very cunning. Prior nannying practice a must - the kids are mostly very chilled out, but they'll get ramped up if you let them! 7am - 8:45am: Get the kids up, dressed and fed and drive them to daycare and school (both very local, and will soon be only one drop-off, as Nate will be starting school in January). 2:45pm - 6pm: Pick the kids up, play with them for a bit, then dinner, bath and bed. That's the gist of Information technology - covering kid sick days and babysitting are much-desired extras if you're interested. If it's useful to you, you can have the use of the family car during the week. We have another vehicle that may available for use on the weekends by negotiation. Most recent happenings: Isaac invented their first actually funny joke: "What does a knife eat? ... CHOPS!" Jake can read, and is devouring books like nobody's business! Nate is about to start school! Also we got them a computer but put maths games on it, so please don't tell them they're Learning Through Fun. We are a non-traditional, progressive family of individuals sharing a home and making Information technology all work. We're looking for someone who is practiced with kids and independent and able to take care of themselves. We value open communication and good humour, and are keen for someone who holds similar views.
