Job Title: Accounts Assistant (AP/AR) Location: Albany Job Type: Full time, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, Immediate start, Contract until Jan 2024 min. Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 Benefits: Work from home day once a week, free onsite parking, company laptop, staff discount scheme for big household name brands. The Company: Work for a global client with a well-established NZ subsidiary. This successful business is a producer and distributor of FMCG's with an extensive and impressive client base! Located on the North Shore you'll be joining a relaxed office environment and supportive team! The Role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, your primary role will be to look after the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions for the business. As the sole person in this role, you will be responsible for: » Accounts Payable including processing invoices, payment allocations, payment runs » Accounts Receivable including invoicing, liaising with clients on overdue payments, payment allocations, dealing with missing shipments and invoice discrepancies, preparation and emailing of statements, processing refunds » Daily Reconciliations » First point of contact for supplier and client accounts related queries The Candidate: » Previous experience in a similar role, ideally 2-3 years » Strong excel skills and ability to learn new systems » Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work » Experience working with large, commercial clients would be an advantage, but not essential » Happy to wear a few hats and pick up other ad hoc duties within the business If you're interested in this opportunity please apply online today, or email your CV to E-Mail: apedrick@adecco.co.nz Adecco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
