Climate Change Adaption:FuelAgencyJob description:Job DescriptionProgramme Manager - Climate Change AdaptionWhangarei District Council are currently seeking an practiced Programme Manager to develop and deliver its Climate Change Adaptation Programme. This new function within our Strategy Department will be responsible for full coordination of the Programme, which will include local Climate Change Risk Assessments, Community Adaptation Planning and actions within the Climate Action Plan. You will work in partnership with the regional Climate Adaptation Tai Tokerau group and the Joint Committee on Climate Adaptation ensuring that the programme supports partnership with h?pu and collaboration with key external stakeholders. There will also be the requirement to contact with central government on Climate Change Adaptation matters and ensure Council is update and compliant with any current/future climate change adaptation requirements. To be prosperous in this function you will need to have the capability to bring together information and ideas from a wide variety of sources and put Information technology together in a logical, easy to understand and seamless format for a wide audience, supporting effective decision making and the development of pragmatic, cost effective solutions.
