Communications Advisor

Are you a junior communications practitioner who enjoys telling compelling stories through a variety of channels and media? Would you enjoy the opportunity to grow your career and help promote one of the world’s top young universities?
We are seeking for a person to join the AUT Communications team.
Working with our team will include the chance to grow your career in corporate communications, hone your writing expertise, work with a variety of people from across the university, create multimedia content and publish on a range of internal and external channels.
The work is significant as we support the growth of AUT and make sure AUT staff have the information they need to support our students and mission of Great Graduates. We offer a supportive team and environment, hybrid working (from the office and home) and the chance to collaborate with and lgain from a group of highly skilled practitioners.
You will enjoy planning and delivering communications campaigns on a huge variety of topics and being responsible for compelling storytelling that enhances AUT’s reputation among internal and external audiences.
To succeed in this function, you will have:
   » 2+ years’ practice in a similar function
   » A flair for written and video storytelling
   » Excellent written communication expertise
   » Top notch people expertise and a collaborative, service-oriented and flexible approach
   » Project co-ordination expertise and attention to detail
income range: $51,000 – $54,000 (dependent on practice)
this function is ideal for someone wanting to develop or kickstart a career in communications. If you’re someone who can confidently interact with people regardless of their function and loves developing compelling stories, we’d love to hear from you.
