Senior SurveyorLocation Papakura & FranklinAuckland Job type Full Time Salary to Category Construction & Architecture > Surveying » Full time permanent role » Solid understanding of of business needs » Work with a committed & supportive team, who are masters of their craft! Surveyor Based in Auckland The purpose of the Surveyor role is to be part of the onsite project team responsible for successful of projects. You will: Manage survey requirements for assigned project(s) to ensure work on site is not delayed due to: » Temporary works » Pre&post construction/installation survey » Piling survey - checking for correct positioning per plan as well as plumbness and height accuracy » Supporting construction teams as required during progress of works. » As-builts of pile locations (within tolerance identified in specification) » As-builts of frame locations (within tolerance identified in specification) » Produce overall as built drawing. » Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support. » Monitor the usage of materials and services. » Prepare daily and other periodic reports to show progress of work activities, and usage of materials and services - as required. » Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications. Requirements: » A tertiary level qualification in an engineering or construction management related subject » Competency in the use of Total Station and GPS Surveying equipment and systems » Basic knowledge about practical construction procedures on site, along with the details of how they are planned. » An interest in construction within a marine environment that would include port and marina facilities.
