Offer: Pacific Bilingual Project Liaison Administrator – Fixed Term Auckland:Big Splash NZJob description:Job DescriptionWe are seeking for a gifted project liaison administrator for an exciting new project of national and regional significance, supporting teaching, learning and community connections in Pacific Bilingual settings in early learning and primary levels.Your main responsibilities will be to: » Provide secretarial support and reports to the Project Directors and project team » Organise meetings, workshops and events, including venue, catering, invitations, RSVPs, materials and logistics » Conduct surveys and create reports of the schools’ data (mainly by phone, email but through visits where needed) » Collect and collate project information » contact with communications, data and other contractors to ensure planned work is completed on time and to required specifications » Ensure effective communication and coordination between partners You will have: » Strong connections and trust with the Pacific community » Speaking and writing fluency in at least one Pacific language (ideally Samoan) » Good communication expertise » capability to establish excellent relationships with the Project Directors, Project Team and with school principals, teachers in bilingual units, community leaders and researchers » Excellent administrative and record-keeping expertise You will be joining the diverse, enthusiastic team at COMET Auckland, which is a Charitable Trust and a Council Controlled Organisation of Auckland Council, and which is contracted to Waka Aotearoa Education to provide administrative support to the Vaka Leo Voices project.
