They are seeking 2 x Warehouse Labourers/Operators to assist with their seasonal mixing plant and warehouse operations, starting 14 February 2022. Day to day duties will involve but not limited to: » Assist the Hamilton Warehouse Supervisor with the mixing of grass seed, stacking 25kg bags, wrapping and distribution activities at the Hamilton Warehouse operation. » Assist in the safe operation of the mixing and warehouse equipment and help in ensuring that everything is kept safe, clean and in good working order. » Ensure that the Company's health and safety policies are followed and assist in the provision of a safe work environment for staff, contractors and visitors. » Assist with such other activities as may be required from time to time. All people will be required to do all the processing roles and need to be able to lift 25kg bags up to about 1 metre Forklift Licence with current OSH would be advantageous but not essential. Please note - duties will be a mix of forklift work (loading and unloading of trucks), however, will still be required to do mixing role (manual labour) Hours - through February approx. 8.00am to 5.00pm Late February/early March the client will be implementing a split shift. Shift one will be approx. 6.00am to noon and shift two will be approx. noon to 6.00pm. At this stage these roles are for shift one, but the successful applicants will need to be flexible with hours. There may be a possibility of working Saturdays which will be paid at overtime rates.
