Learning and Development Partner - Lower North Region

The function of Development Partner is a leadership abilities function in our People, Practice and Capcapability Team. Information technology is the trusted advisor to our Senior Regional leadership abilities Team and is accountable for working with them to develop learning solutions that will lift the capcapability of our workforce. Alongside providing advice and support to senior regional leadership abilities on capcapability gaps and solutions, the function will also build and lead a new team that will influence the regional learning culture.
We’re looking for an practiced leader that has the drive to challenge the status quo and apply creative thinking to find solutions for our region.

   » broad knowledge and practice of adult learning principles and practice
   » Previous and proven practice in leading a diverse team & coaching others
   » Highly developed communication expertise - able to effectively communicate complex issues to a range of stakeholders and audiences
   » capability to engage and inspire our leaders during a time of transformational change
   » Sound knowledge and up to date knowledge of significant research, theories and principals of leadership abilities and learning and development
   » High level of comfort in working with technology and delivery of training using modern technologies
   » Able to analyse complex data to produce clear reports and plans
   » Service focussed - able to understand the needs of our leaders and to meet those needs
It will be a given that you have an knowledge of differing worldviews and cultural capcapability as this function will be focused on ensuring learning solutions which support the essence of our strategy H?kai Rangi.
