Production Team MemberLocation All AucklandAuckland Job type Permanent Salary 23 to 26 Category Engineering > Manufacturing » » » Our client who specializes in plastic rotational moulding is looking for new machine operators to join their growing team of both junior and experienced operators who are passionate about their roles. The company has been operating for over 40years in Auckland and has become well-respected across New Zealand for their delivery of high-quality products. Located in Penrose, the company mainly supplies large plastic water tanks to various residential and commercial customers throughout New Zealand, and they are looking for driven individuals to support their team as they continue to grow throughout 2022. In this role, you will be primarily hands-on in the factory, assisting with the operation of all the machines, along with stacking and packing the completed product in preparation for dispatch. Your main responsibilities will include; » Operating all plastic rotational moulding machines » Using small tools to open, fill, and close steel moulds » Preparing materials and supplies for the production process » Ensuring a clean and safe working environment » Adhering to all health and safety guidelines What you will get; » This is a Monday to Friday role, with dayshift (07:00-16:30) and nightshift (16:30-02:00) available » All roles are permanent full-time opportunities, with overtime available often » The pay rate for this role is $23-$26/hour depending on experience » An opportunity to learn and develop new skills To be successful for this role, you will need to; » Be able to be on their feet all day long and continuously lift products » Have a can-do attitude and a desire to succeed » Have a proven history of good attendance and reliability » Succeed in a factory environment and be a motivated team player Although all training will be provided on-the-job and this role is open to those looking to start a career in manufacturing, the following skills would be beneficial; » Experience in a machine operating role » Knowledge of the plastic rotational moulding process » Experience in an industrial setting or factory This role has an immediate start date, so if this sounds like you don't hesitate!
