YOUR function
To be prosperous as a Human Resources Business Partner – Commercial, you will partner with leaders across our commercial teams in NZ & AU to provide coaching & support on all people related matters. You will have a consultative & curious approach with strong commercial acumen to help overlap people initiatives, projects and capcapability needs with overall business objectives within your remit.
Reporting to Group HR Manager – Commercial, your function will be a true partnership function to drive a range of HR generalist activities, with a large focus on coaching & educating managers to improve capcapability within their area. You will lead investigations, drive performance management best practice, implement HR initiatives and be the go-to support on ground in NZ for any people related matters.
 
Key objectives will include, but not be limited to the following:
   » Provide timely, practical and accurate advice to leaders & employees across commercial functions
   » Partner with Commercial Leaders on ground in NZ and across AU to facilitate the development of their leadership abilities, drive capcapability within their teams and support overall business objectives.
   » Support with leading HR projects such as annual engagement survey and onboarding
   » Drive Sales capabilities initiatives in conjunction with Group HR Manager Support
   » Provide best practice Employee Relations support to team in NZ across multiple sites including building relationships with key stakeholders
   » Support change management programs and people change projects
 
ABOUT YOU
You will thrive in this function if you present all or most of the below aspects:

   » Strong commercial acumen
   » NZ Employee Relations Law practice
   » Demonstrated practice to partner with leaders to drive business objectives
   » Confident and articulate
   » Practical approach to problem solving and capability to make use sound judgment to make decisions
   » Resilience and able to work in a fast-paced environment
   » capability to coach and influence managers on best HR practices
Additionally, you will be an independent self-starter who appreciates working in a team environment; you'll possess excellent organisational and time management expertise and be a confident and effective communicator.You'll enjoy the dynamic scenario of working from different offices and business units in Auckland.
