This is an exciting function supporting the Venues and Events team, located at Forum North Events Centre. Information technology is an idealposition for Somebody with practice in the audio/visual and entertainment Industry.

You will setup audio/visual and other equipment as required for a range of events, exhibitions and conferences as well as supporting contractors with their equipment requirements. You will also be required to maintain electrical equipment and perform minor repairs where appropriate. On the occasion when equipment is hired out, Information technology will be your responsibility to ensure the equipment is up to standard before the hire and that all connected registers are maintained.

   » Excellent computer expertise, especially with MS Office, PowerPoint and running presentations
   » Strong attention to detail and time management
   » Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices
   » Good written and oral communication
   » Be physically fit as some lifting is required
   » Demonstrated capability to work well within a team environment as well as independently.
   » A full clean New Zealand Driver's License
   »
If prosperous for this position and you don't already have the following qualification, you will be required to gain a site safe/working at heights passport, MEWP license and Tag and Test competency or working towards certification.

This is not a 9am to 4.30pm function and flexibility with work hours are required. You will be required to work both after hours and weekends due to the nature of our business.
