Waikato Museum Te Whare Taonga o Waikato aims to be the best regional museum in New Zealand and is seeking the right people to take on a function in our Visitor Services Team.
Our Visitor practice Team provides frontline customer service to visitors to Waikato Museum, Arts Post, Excite and any pop-up exhibitions in the Waikato region. As manager you will coordinate the day-to-day activities of the visitor practice representatives, encourage and support the delivery of high-quality service standards and maintain the roster for the team.
We need someone who can transfer their existing customer and visitor service practice and expertise to the cultural and artistic environment, working across the museum and ArtsPost. You'll also have excellent computer literacy expertise and will be available to work set days each week.
We're looking for someone who can work full time every week rostered, which includes weekends, some evening work at exhibitions openings, public events or when the museum is hired out.
Waikato Museum Te Whare Taonga o Waikato is staffed by a diverse, engaged and friendly group of museum professionals who work closely together and strive to deliver a world-class museum practice.
