As Senior Communications Advisor for Te Whatu Ora, Southern, you'll help keep the community and healthcare teams informed about services, initiatives and important public health issues. Bring your media, and communication and engagement skills to a function that is challenging, compensateing - and always fascinating!
M? te t?ranga - About the function
As Senior Communications Advisor, you will be responsible for providing trusted communications advice and skills to support a range of organisational initiatives and issues.
The main focus areas of your function will be (but are not limited to) the following:
   » Planning, superviseing and implementing communications strategies with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
   » Working across a range of channels; online (internal and external), print, external media, websites, social media
   » Participating in promotion and engagement activities, including workshops, roadshows and meetings.
   » Building positive working relationships with key media agencies, and facilitating their queries on a range of issues

We are seeking for a positive, pro-active and motivated individual to step into this varied and busy function.
You will ideally bring the following skills and practice with you:
   » broad practice within a communications, media, marketing or public relations field
   » Very strong writing skills, and the commitment to produce accurate and high quality communications and work to a deadline
   » A team player with a strong focus on internal and external 'customers' and the capability to build strong working relationships with people from diverse backgrounds and practices
   » Photography and/or video skills while not essential would definitely be beneficial
   » A significant tertiary qualification
