We represent many of New Zealand's major artists and maintain client relationships all over the country and worldwide. We are seeking for a dynamic and flexible creative to fulfil a key function supporting the design and marketing objectives of both galleries while the current incumbent undertakes a special project. There is a strong graphic design component to the function with tasks for both digital and print material as well as undertaking website administration and providing support for artwork photography. expertise and attributes needed to be prosperous in this function are: » Creative sector or related practice and expertise showing a well-developed design aesthetic » Advanced expertise and practice in Adobe - InDesign, Photoshop as well as Microsoft Office products. » Highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities, manage workload peaks and meet strict service deadlines. » Accurate with a meticulous eye for detail and an appetite for continuous learning. » capability to work independently and take ownership of projects as well as being an engaged and contributing team member. » Outstanding communication expertise and the capability to work with a diverse range of people. » A expertise and interest in contemporary artists and practice would be beneficial. This is a Dunedin located fixed term position of at least 4 months and 12-16 hours per week (Monday - Friday). Some flexibility of hours is available for the right candidate.
