The Dunedin Fringe Arts Trust is seeking an independent contractor to manage the production of our events in the 2023 Dunedin Fringe Festival. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including superviseing and managing our venues, liaising with technical suppliers and artists, Health and Safety, and scheduling. You'll need good knowledge of the arts, and excel at planning/documenting complex events. You're committed to advancing the festival and arts practitioners and will enjoy working within a small and passionate team, including interns. Knowledge sharing and professional development of venues and Fringe artists is also required. The contract is for a period of up to 11 weeks, full time, with the Fringe Office shutting down over Christmas.
We will consider partial remote working for the right candidate but in-person service is required immediately before and during the festival (16 - 26 March 2023).

Qualifications
   » Must be able to work legally in New Zealand
   » Full driver's licence
   » A good working knowledge of event and/or performance production and management
   » An knowledge of basic audio and lighting setup
   » capability to keep to a budget
   » Strong time management and scheduling expertise
   » An capability to work in a team and solve problems constructively.
Indicative hourly rate $30-35.
