Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
A unique function to inspire and lead our Crisis Respite Service in Wellington. Use established systems and processes to meet compliance requirements and optimise the service to meet local need. Develop and grow your team to work top of their scope as community support workers.

Be part of great partnerships that deliver; including working alongside Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues to support tangata whai ora and their wh?nau.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.00pm. Additionally, you will be supported to be part of a rotating after hours on-call roster.
Responsibilities include:

   » Working alongside primary and secondary care services, and the wider community to ensure optimal results
   » Fostering strong relationships in your community and be a good neighbour
   » Providing regular coaching, leading and inspiring a passionate team
   » Living your values at work and making a difference in your community.
M?u | You
You will have:
   » A current New Zealand Nursing registration
   » Clinical practice working in mental health and addiction
   » A current full New Zealand driver's license
   » A current New Zealand first aid certificate or be prepared to obtain one
   » Proven leadership abilities practice
   » A demonstrated capability and cultural competence in working with M?ori, and knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
