Our small and collaborative team at the Rolleston branch in Christchurch is seeking a Sand Blaster/Warehouse Storeperson to join us. Join our family-owned business, a leading supplier of steel and flow products nationwide to the building, construction, civil infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors. In this hands-on role, you will be part of a busy crew that keeps you challenged, physically fit, and thinking on your feet. To be successful in this role, you must have stores and warehousing experience, a full NZ driver's license, F&Osh forklift experience, strong communication skills, and be physically fit. An engineering background will be an advantage. Responsibilities include using sandblasting and powder coating machines, picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for dispatch, loading and unloading trucks, receiving inward goods, conducting inventory stock takes, and operating the overhead gantry crane and forklift. Health and safety and delivering orders to local customers will also be part of your role. We offer a Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm schedule, a monthly bonus (subject to meeting KPIs after 6 months), a company health scheme after 6 months, ongoing training and development opportunities, life/terminal illness insurance, and free wills.
