Training is available for the right person to operate and maintain a gantry crane to move and position heavy materials such as containers, machinery, and other materials as required. We have multiple vacancies to fill. Responsibilities: » Operate a gantry crane to move and position heavy materials safely and efficiently » Perform pre-operation checks and maintenance on the gantry crane to ensure it is in good working condition » Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries » Communicate with other team members and supervisors to ensure work is completed according to schedule and requirements » Ensure that materials are loaded and unloaded correctly and safely » Maintain accurate records of materials moved, inventory, and maintenance tasks » Keep the work area clean and organized Requirements: » Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment » Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures » Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment » Valid crane operator's certificate or equivalent certification is a plus » Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if required If you are interested in becoming a Gantry Crane Operator and have a keen eye for safety and detail, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
