You will work in different locations throughout New Zealand with travel and accommodation paid for. What's in it for you: » Weekly pay » Big hours = Big PAY » All travel and accommodation paid for » 6 months guaranteed work » Gain qualifications within the first 3 months » Competitive pay rates » PPE provided The role: Construction Workers will be making new pipes inside existing pipes, with fiber glass moulding as well as: - General labourer activities - Cutting with grinders and using other small tools - Feeding /receiving materials down manholes - Working in manholes (confide space work) - Driving equipment to sites - Filling up machines with fuel - Setting equipment up to undertake the lining of pipeline - Possible CCTV operations - Live sewer environment (drainage work in manholes) Hours of Work - 11 days away, 3 days off (arrive home Thurs and have Fri, Sat, Sun off). - All travel and accommodation expenses paid - $63 non-taxable allowance for food per day - 7am until jobs is complete What we need from you: - MUST have the flexibility to travel nationally - Physically fit & happy to work outside regardless of weather conditions - Full Class 1 license or ready to sit full - we will pay for Full where needed - Be able to pass a drug, alcohol & criminal checks - Will require inoculations - Hep, Typhoid, Tetanus + one other (TBC) Training Withing the first 3 months the below training will take place, if needed: - Confined Space Entry training - Site Safe training - Construct Safe training - Harness Training - Spill kit training - DG awareness training - TC level 1 (now TMO) - Small Tools training Your pay will rise with each ticket you gain. There may be an opportunity to learn CCTV (Close circuit television cameras), techniques to repair pipelines without excavation, such as cured in place piping (CIPP) and horizontal directional drilling (HDD).
