We are looking to employ an electrician with a current New Zealand practicing licence to help maintain this essential infrastructure. You won't be crawling under floors or through roof spaces, the work is primarily outdoors and the role is interesting, varied and challenging, with a great hourly rate and with overtime available. The position will suit a physically fit person and you must be comfortable working off ladders. The role: » Fault attendance/diagnosis/remedy » Routine maintenance of Traffic Signals and ITS equipment » Intersection upgrades » New equipment installation The person: » Team oriented but confident working alone » Active learner & Problem solver » Safety conscious » Will understand the urgency and will enjoy being responsive to time critical faults » Eligible to work in NZ » Must have full NZ electrical registration » A full driver's licence is required » An active interest in electronics would be beneficial Applicants for this position should have: » NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa. » You must be willing to submit to a Police check » random drug & alcohol testing.
