Lecturing opportunity for practiced health professionals with a minimum of a Master’s qualification, a commitment to Te Tiriti honouring development, and a passion for research and education.

The term of this appointment is from 5thof June 2023 to 1 February 2024 (potential to extend)
prosperous candidates will actively engage in facilitating the delivery of education in the undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery programmes within in a Te Tiriti honouring framework. In addition, they will be invited to contribute to the supervision of postgraduate students enrolled in the Masters and Doctoral programmes. There is an expectation that appointees will also contribute to the research culture within the Faculty of Health and Environmental Sciences at AUT University.
candidates will hold a minimum of a Master’s qualification in health or science and will have strong midwifery clinical background. The prosperous applicant will have a significant teaching qualification or be committed to completing a tertiary teaching certificate. Candidates will embrace the vision and values of the School and commit to continuing professional development supported by the AUT staff development programme.

this function is considered a children’s worker function and will be subject to safety checking as part of theChildren’s Act 2014.
Annual income Range: $85,000 – $101,000 – will be pro-rated (appointment level and income commensurate with expertise and practice)
