You will be joining an experienced team of one of the leading engineering solutions providers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical systems and equipment. The role requires the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues in a timely and efficient manner. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your foot in the door of a international leading company. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: » Conduct routine maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment » Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues » Repair and replace damaged or faulty mechanical components » Install new mechanical systems and equipment » Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs » Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations » Collaborate with other technicians and team members to resolve complex mechanical issues » Perform other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: » Certificate or associate degree in mechanical technology or related field preferred » Minimum of 2 years of experience as a mechanical technician or similar role » Strong problem-solving and analytical skills » Ability to work independently or as part of a team » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills » Knowledge of safety standards and regulations » Able to provide 2 work references TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED: » All appointments will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and MOJ check. » Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
