Te t?nga | The function
this function is permanent and located in Auckland. Reporting to the Manager Technology Services Operations, you will be part of the wider support services team. Your focus will be ensuring all Information technology services and components meet their operational targets and requirements. You will also be involved in resolving second level support escalations from the Service Desk, clients and other Information technology teams. You’ll also be required to contribute to the improvement of team processes and documentation.
We are seeking for a passionate, customer focused Desktop Engineer to provide onsite desktop support.Your responsibilities will include responding and resolving incidents and service requests as well as resolving hardware and software faults related to end-user devices

   » Have practice in supporting modern workplace technologies; Microsoft Windows 10 and new emerging versions – administration and troubleshooting
   » Diagnosing, and analysing problems escalated by Service Desk, in turn formulating and researching solutions to resolve the issue
   » Maintaining hardware stock levels including ordering peripherals and working with vendor management
   » Liaising and engaging with partners and 3rd parties to investigate and resolve hardware and software issues with customer service being your highest priority
   » Prior practice managing, and imaging devices – laptops, tablets, and desktops
   » Prior practice in Microsoft Azure, Intune, Microsoft 365, Active directory, Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
   » Developing and creating technical documentation to maintain expertise base updated
   » Strong prioritisation and organisational expertise, with exceptional attention to detail
   » Proactive interactions with team members to ensure standards, policies and procedures are being followed
   » A high level of professionalism, displaying relicapability, punctuality, and excellent personal presentation
   » Take initiative to continually develop technical expertise and professional expertise and develop documentation as required.
   » Strong listening, and communication expertise with great attention to detail
   » Initiative and the capability to operate independently
   » Client focused and exceptional customer service expertise
