You will be working in the Quality Assurance Test Lab and reporting to the Test Technician Team Leader, contributing towards ensuring their products and services meet the required standards. This role works on a rotating shift pattern of 5 days, 3 x 8-hour shifts per day, Monday to Friday and occasionally Saturday to meet the demands for testing. About the person » A team player with an enthusiastic and 'can do' attitude is key. » A meticulous, quality focused and detail orientated person. » Working as part of a team will require excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. » It is preferable that you will have previous quality assurance experience with a good understanding of materials and testing methods. The company is a manufacturing business and take health and safety seriously, this should be a priority for you too. Key responsibilities include testing products to ensure the company meet the required standards, performing process and quality control, as well as provide testing service to their wire mill and external customers as required. The successful applicant will undergo training in accordance with the training plan for Test Techs. Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit.
