On behalf of our client, we are seeking a skilled Service and Installation Technician to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining various furniture found in office environments, such as acoustic booths, seating, desking, and monitor arms. The Service and Installation Technician will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing any issues that arise with these products to ensure these are working optimally. Duties and Responsibilities: » Install and configure acoustic booths, seating, desking, monitor arms and other nominated devices in various workplace environments. » Diagnose and troubleshoot any issues and make necessary repairs to ensure optimal performance. » Coordinate with customers and team members to schedule installations and repairs and ensure timely completion of work. » Provide recommendations for upgrades or new equipment based on customer needs and trends. » Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and inventory of supplies and tools. » Collaborate with team members to ensure that deadlines are met, and high-quality standards are maintained. » Adhere to all site safety guidelines and regulations. Qualifications: » Proven experience in installing and/or repairing office furniture products. » Experience in office fitouts and furniture repairs is an advantage. » Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools. » Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. » Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision. » Effective communication and interpersonal skills. » Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently. » Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time. » Technical certifications or qualifications are an advantage. » Must hold a current NZ driver's licence. » Must have own car, registered, and warranted. To progress further, you must demonstrate the following: » No pending criminal convictions. » Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test. » Strong work ethic. » Reliable transportation. » Positive can-do attitude. » Two work-related references.
