About Us
Internationally acknowledged for their work with Moana creatives, cultural organisations, curators and educational providers as an organisation dedicated to the development and continuing guidance of Pacific artists, the name Tautai draws on the Samoan word for navigator, reflecting the organisation's desire to work alongside artists, in enhancing their art practice and taking their ideas to the world.
Tautai is currently funded by CNZ, and is proudly a Toi Totara Haemata funded organisation. We also receive funding from Foundation North.
We are seeking for a Programme Manager with a high level of familiarity with and positive relationships within the Pacific arts community to join our team.
About the function
As the Programme Manager, you will manage the effective delivery of Tautai programmes, events, activities.. As part of the senior leadership abilities team will include effective systems and process development, evaluation of programmes, training and development, and oversight of the health & safety procedures and compliance requirements are met.
Core responsibilities include developing and updating Tautai's programmes-related processes and systems, leading evaluation and ensuring accurate records are kept. This will require you to have high level of administration capability.
About You
candidates for this position will be able to demonstrate;
Exemplary diverse stakeholder management
   » 3+ years' practice a similar function
   » Effective project management expertise
   » Effective communication expertise
   » Proven practice of managing a budget
   » Strong knowledge of event delivery, and Health and Safety requirements in alignment with
   » Some practice in an educational setting (highly preferred)?
   » knowledge Pacific cultural capabilities.
this function is for someone who is a creative and focused thinking professional, with a strong capability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders, internal and external to the Trust. We are seeking for someone who can start as early as possible.
