Adecco New Plymouth is currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller for a full-time temporary position. This exciting opportunity is available immediately and will last for approximately 2-3 months. You'll have the chance to work with one of New Plymouth's largest employers, joining a supportive and dynamic environment.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
   » Monitor and manage the company's outstanding accounts receivables
   » Proactively communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and outstanding invoices
   » Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and disputes promptly
   » Collaborate with the sales team to ensure credit checks are performed on new customers
   » Evaluate credit risk and set credit limits for customers
   » Prepare and distribute regular reports on aged debt and collections status
   » Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit control activities

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU'LL NEED:

   » Previous experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role is preferred
   » Strong knowledge of credit control principles and practices
   » Excellent communication and negotiation skills
   » Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
   » Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
   » Ability to work independently and as part of a team
   » Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations professionally
   » Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
