We have an exciting opportunity for you in Hamilton. In this role, you'll be an integral part of the maintenance team, working on a weekly rotating shift and collaborating closely with production operations teams across the site. Key Responsibilities: As an Industrial Electrician, you will report to the Engineering Manager and play a crucial role in reducing plant downtime. Your responsibilities will include: » Conducting preventative maintenance activities » Performing breakdown repairs » Engaging in general electrical fault-finding » Driving continuous improvement initiatives » Contributing to various projects as required You will utilize the maintenance software systems to record and plan maintenance activities. Additionally, you will uphold a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities in accordance with employment and legislative standards. What You Bring to the Team: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience: » Full NZ Electrical Trade License » Post trade qualifications » Minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar industry » Proficient in electrical and electronics fault-finding, including with Printed Circuit Boards, PLC's, and Motor Controls » Ability to read electrical schematics. » Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 » Experience within AS-Interface and automation systems is highly desirable. » Self-motivated with a proactive approach » Strong team player with proficient computer skills » Excellent written and verbal communication skills Safety First: Our client prioritizes the safety of the team members and uphold a culture that values the well-being of everyone.
