Are you an experienced Operations Leader with a proven track record in managing end-to-end processes in a manufacturing environment? Join our team in Avondale, Auckland, and play a crucial role in leading and managing our operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
   » Lead and manage the Avondale operations team, overseeing the end-to-end baking process, including mixing, forming, baking, and packing.
   » Drive performance with a site balanced scorecard, ensuring financial delivery against the annual operating plan.
   » Collaborate with various site leads across health & safety, finance, quality/food safety, maintenance, people and culture, planning & purchasing, and onsite warehousing.
   » Build team capability and culture, fostering a continuous improvement mindset through annual improvement plans and effective execution of training and development programs.
   » Support innovation programs by providing input into the innovation pipeline and assisting in trials of new products and capabilities, including enabler projects.
   » Understand and implement TAG policies, procedures, standards & values at the Avondale facility.
Requirements:
   » Experience leading and managing teams to deliver against a strategy and key performance metrics.
   » Background in manufacturing, preferably within the food industry.
   » Ability to develop and execute plans for the medium and long term.
   » Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence team members and stakeholders.
   » Action-oriented with a focus on delivering results.
   » Entrepreneurial style to contribute directly to the success of innovation and enabler programs.
   » Capability to handle day-to-day challenges, address strategic delivery expectations, and make fast-paced, agile decisions in response to changing external elements and stakeholder requests.
   » High level of autonomy in leading the site team with technical support and expertise remotely located.
