General WorkerLocation Rodney & North ShoreAuckland Job type Temporary Salary to Category Transport, Shipping, Logistics > Warehouse & Distribution » North Shore Location » Temporary, Full time Role » Entry Level Position We are currently seeking a motivated individual for the role of General Laborer for a warehouse relocation project. The assignment is expected to last for 2-3 weeks during the month of February. The primary responsibility will be to assist with the seamless transition of our warehouse operations to a new location. Key Responsibilities: » Devanning: » Safely and efficiently unload goods from shipping containers. » Organize and categorize items as per guidelines. » Pick Packing: » Accurately pick items from inventory based on packing lists. » Ensure proper packaging and labeling of products. » Moving Boxes: » Handle and transport boxes within the warehouse. » Follow established procedures to maintain the integrity of goods. » Loading and Unloading: » Load and unload goods onto trucks or other transportation vehicles. » Adhere to safety protocols to prevent damage to products and ensure personal safety. Requirements: » Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy boxes. » Previous experience in a warehouse or physically demanding environment is a plus. » Excellent teamwork and communication skills. » Attention to detail to ensure accurate handling of inventory. Working Conditions: » This is a temporary assignment for the month of February. » Workdays are from Tuesday to Sunday, with six days a week commitment. » The job involves physical labor and may require standing, lifting, and moving for extended periods. Duration: February (2-3 weeks) Location: Albany and Glenfield Schedule: Tuesday - Sunday (6 days a week) If this role interests you, we would love to hear from you.
