Role Overview: As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate care and support to the residents. In addition to assisting with daily living activities and providing personal care, you will also be responsible for ensuring that residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met with the highest level of professionalism and empathy. Key Responsibilities: » » Monitoring residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff » Providing companionship and emotional support to residents » Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents » Participating in recreational activities and social events with residents » Adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols and procedures Requirements: » Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role is preferred » Relevant qualifications in healthcare assistance or aged care support are desirable » Excellent communication and interpersonal skills » Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care » Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team » Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of residents » Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings Additional Skills: In addition to HCA skills, excellent customer service is a must.
