Pelletizer Operator

Location: Manukau, New Zealand

Are you a skilled forklift operator with experience in palletization and storage? Do you have a keen eye for quality and a strong sense of product traceability? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

My client, a leading canning company based in Manukau, is currently seeking a Pelletizer Operator to join their dynamic team. As a Pelletizer Operator, you will play a vital role in the palletization and storage of their high-quality aluminium can bodies, ensuring the smooth operation of their production process.

Responsibilities:
   » Operate the pelletizing machinery efficiently and safely.
   » Ensure accurate palletization of manufactured aluminium can bodies.
   » Maintain proper storage and organization of pallets in accordance with company guidelines.
   » Adhere to quality control standards to ensure product integrity.
   » Monitor and record data related to palletization and storage processes.
   » Collaborate with the production team to maintain a steady supply of can bodies.
   » Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Requirements:
   » Proven experience as a forklift operator, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
   » Strong knowledge of palletization techniques and procedures.
   » Ability to operate and maintain pelletizing machinery effectively.
   » Excellent attention to detail and the ability to ensure product traceability.
   » Basic data recording and computer skills.
   » A safety-conscious mindset and the ability to follow established protocols.
   » Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
   » Good communication and teamwork skills.
