Accountant
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and supporting various financial activities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
   » Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and collections.
   » Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, including reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, and analyzing financial data.
   » Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
   » Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to help identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
   » Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
   » Support audit and tax preparation processes, including gathering documentation and providing analysis as needed.
   » Maintain accurate and organized financial records, both electronically and physically.
   » Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
   » Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices, ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
   » Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
   » CPA certification or progress towards CPA preferred.
   » 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
   » Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
   » Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
   » Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
   » Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
   » Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members at all levels.
