The function

this function is accountable for providing leadership abilities and management of audits, review functions, ensuring the design, implementation, and management of risk strategies. this function will develop, implement, and maintain an appropriate risk and compliance framework, including internal controls, policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

Your expertise and practice

You’ll thrive in this function with your passion for risk, and helping communities within the Pacific community, you’ll want to be a part of the story that is Aotearoa. You’ll have solid practice in audit and risk management along with demonstrated capability to develop, deploy, support, and maintain organisational risk management capabilities in an organisational setting. Use your outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship building expertise to make this newly appointed function your own.

The desired expertise and practice for this position include:

• practice of preparing and presenting risk management assessments and updates
• Sounds business and financial management
• Provide advice and guidance to ELT on identification and management of operational risk
• practice in developing and implementing risk and compliance framework
