INTERIM FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - FIXED TERM function
   »12 month fixed term "stand-in" function

About the client:

This client is in the process of implementing an organisation-wide ERP system. The current Financial Controller, who reports through to the CFO, is being seconded to the project over the remaining 12 months of implementation. Therefore they need an accomplished FC to fulfill this function in the interim.

About the function:


No-one says any senior function like this is standard, but essentially Information technology is a ?traditional? financial control function within a complex service sector organisation. During your tenure, your function will be to ?keep the ship steady? and maintain the day-to-day functions of the function. Because the incumbent will still be accessible, any ?challenges? will be able to be addressed as they emerge. Reporting through to a CFO-level person with long-term practice, also gives you confidence in accessing the correct information.
We need not be too descriptive about the function because as an accomplished FC, you will know what you need to do!

About you:


You will have had Financial Controller practice for a significant period, likely 10 years or more, in an organisation of size, either private or public sector being OK. Whilst you won't be involved in the implementation, practice during a significant ERP implementation and the change that Information technology brings, will be well regarded as Information technology will contribute to a prosperous conclusion of a number of years of ?stop-start? that has happened during the last two years.
You'll clearly posses strong technical financial management expertise, be a strong communicator, and have the capability to manage a team during change.
