Warehouse/Forklift? (Glenfield)Job location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Permanent » » » • Mon to Friday – Northshore, 7.00am to 3.00pm • Excellent negotiable income, and career growth • NZ owned manufacturer, near m-way The Company - My client is renowned in their field, their practice is in servicing the needs of the pharmaceutical, medical, food, nutritional and personal care industries which has seen continued growth and expansion of their plant’s capabilities. - As an ‘Essential Service’ they have been busy providing their clients with high quality product and currently have a need for another Storeperson with Forklift practice. Overview - To assist the Stores Team Leader in the receipt, storage and shipment of product and materials at their two (nearby) warehouse locations tasks: - Use of electric Forklifts (support given to renew Licence if needed) - Unloading and loading trucks and containers (finished goods and materials) - Processing customer orders including loading of containers for overseas shipments - Wrapping and strapping of pallets of light weight product - Loading material into Bins for Production team - Checking off incoming goods and pallet returns - Booking the significant transport companies for pickups/transfers where required - Moving material around the factory as required - Assist with customer deliveries and collections - Documentation checks - Inventory management/computer use - Health & Safety Offer - Hours 7am to 3pm (all breaks paid) Monday to Friday - Join a prosperous company, NZ owned and in essential services - Career and $ growth ie take on more inventory/logistics tasks if interested - Company shut down at Christmas each year for approx. 3 weeks You - You will be energetic, enthusiastic, a quick learner with previous warehouse practice and be able to work unsupervised - Have previous Forklift practice, support will be given if your Licence has expired, so pls do still apply - Some computer literacy eg emails/Excel?
