Our client is looking for a skilled craftsperson who has a passion for creating high-quality, durable springs. They have an exciting oppurtinity for you to join their team as a Spring Maker / Coiling Spring Setter. Proven experience in setting CNC Coiling Spring machines and manufacturing springs is required. As a Spring Maker, you will play a crucial role, responsible for the meticulous fabrication and assembly of various types of springs. From compression springs to torsion springs, your expertise will be essential in ensuring the precision and reliability of the clients offerings. This company is dedicated to producing the highest quality spring products in New Zealand. You will need to know how to use measuring tools precisely and have had a minimum of 5 years' experience in setting up CNC Wire Formers or CNC Coiling machines. Key Responsibilities: » Manufacturing springs » Setting automatic coiling spring machines » Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols » Checking and packaging spring products as they come off machines » Finishing and detailing of spring products (as in a secondary process) » Adhering to the health and safety rules of the company. » Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during manufacturing » Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline production processes » Perform quality checks throughout the production process to maintain strict standards of excellence » Operate specialized machinery and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble springs according to precise specifications » Set coiling machines » Set and operate hand benders » End forming & looping » Grind springs » Read drawings » Use all measuring and load testing equipment "As one of the world's largest employers, we believe in talent not labels, and focus on the diverse and unique skills our people bring.
